ABM has taught us to have a relationship with God, stand firm in the faith
and live life above reproach. TLP teaches us to guard our motives, to
not just talk the Word, but live and walk it out to pave the road...set an
example for those who come behind us. We are the hope of those who are coming
back to society. God has had a great impact on the TLP and a great
blessing. Leave God, you end up in the same situation as before.
God is first in my life; the goals you set, the work you do, to make a strong
family...you MUST have God in it!

I had a blast today bro. The thing about these kids there is
they are all great kids but just lost, they don't have guidance in their
life. When you spend time with them it makes their days to know you cared.
They listen to every word we say and want to know Jesus and become better
people for themselves and their families.

Tonight was my first time going to the
Leslie Peters Halfway House. What an awesome experience! I'm not going to
lie, at first, I was pretty nervous for I have never done anything like that
before. I prayed that God would clear my head so that He may speak through
me and that His will would be done. I got there at 5:30 with the expectation
of leaving at 6:45. I stayed until 8:00! When I left I felt so fulfilled! A
feeling, I must confess, I haven't felt for a while. I went there with the
intentions of helping troubled teens but by the time I left, they helped me
feel unbelievably close to my Heavenly Father.
